The Kafka ribbon weaving mill in Wuppertal weaves ribbons in an old tradition of incomparable quality on 25 Jacquard looms from the 19th century. Wuppertal was known as a center of the haberdashery industry. Ribbons and borders were booming in the 19th century. The Small Diamond is one of the oldest patterns that has been on the market for well over a hundred years. How wonderful that such treasures still exist.
