Soie Perlée is an intensely shiny yarn. Soie Perlée is available in 293 colors. It is filament silk. Filament is a term for fibers of virtually unlimited length. In the case of silk, this means that there are fibers from the middle of the cocoon that can be unwound endlessly without tearing. Soie Perlée is a thread twisted from three strands, which gives it absolute tear resistance. Soie Perlée is suitable for embroidery on 30 and 32 ct linen. Soie Perlée comes on small wooden spools 16 meters long or on plastic spools with a running length of 80 meters.
