Soie Perlée is an intensely shiny yarn. Soie Perlée is available in 293 colors. It is filament silk. Filament is a term for fibers of virtually unlimited length. In the case of silk, this means that these are fibers from the center of the cocoon that can be unwound endlessly without tearing. Soie Perlée is a thread twisted from three strands, which gives it absolute tear resistance. Soie Perlée is suitable for embroidering on 10, 12 and 14 gauge linen. Soie Perlée comes on small wooden spools that are 16 meters long or on plastic spools that are 80 meters long.
