Soie 1003 is a classic from Au Ver a Soie. It can be used as sewing thread, but also for embroidery. The yarn is suitable for sewing machines. Soie 1003 is a tightly twisted silk. Soie 1003 is ideal for making lace, but also for embroidering on 16, 18, 20 and 22 gauge linen - which is particularly popular with embroiderers of historical samplers - or for the finest embroideries in petit point stitches.
