Based on an illustration in the book A Treasury of Embroidery Designs *), I used copies and enlargements to produce tools to reconstruct the old sampler from the Cooper-Hewitt Museum, New York, and to process it as an embroidery template. It's amazing where the interesting Vierlander cloths have gone .
