We were totally overwhelmed by the popularity that our event at the Ennigerloh Embroidery Museum received last Sunday. Our thanks go to everyone who made the sometimes long journey to come, look, browse and just be there. In the homely and intimate atmosphere of the Old Distillery you could indulge in old and new embroidery. The Embroidery Museum offered short guided tours and information about the textiles on display at regular intervals. In the actual event room, people sewed, embroidered, crafted and of course the finest patchwork and silk yarns were offered for sale. The embroideries made by Monika Schmillenkamp showed how timelessly beautiful, traditional and yet modern embroidery can be today. That leaves you wanting more! We are already looking forward to next year!
