The year is coming to an end. Once again the workshop for historical embroidery designs is on the road. On November 3rd, you can meet us from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the day of action in the embroidery museum in Ennigerloh .

What awaits you there?

Doris Huster-Ortkemper from Ortkemper-Design presents her tasteful patchwork work, some of which has fine embroidery, a wonderful combination!

The workshop for historical embroidery patterns shows the extensive range of threads from Au Ver a Soie. In addition to the well-known silk yarns, we are bringing the embroidery wool Laine fine d`Aubusson, a product that we have only recently added to our range. You can of course purchase fine linen fabrics from Graziano as well as all yarns directly on site. You can also take a look at our 2019 Christmas special. We're still embroidering, but we hope to be able to present the finished piece to you on November 3rd.

We offer a small workshop on the day of the action, and Christmas cards are made to match the Christmas season. Meike Kurz from Unika-rt makes wonderful embossed cards from the finest paper. We provide these cards with delicate Christmas embroidery patterns. Anyone interested in embroidering is cordially invited. We charge a small fee for the material.

You can choose between a variety of beautiful handcrafted cards!

Whether square or rectangular, the embroidered cards make a great little gift at Christmas time.

And what else is there?

Monika Schmillenkamp is showing her new collection of pincushions and needlebooks , embroidered with traditional patterns using Soie d'Alger silk yarn. Of course, the embroidery museum is open on this day. Admission to the day of action is free. We look forward to your visit and to a cozy afternoon in the beautiful ambience of the old distillery. A worthwhile Sunday outing!
