One of the most important dates of the year for all textile enthusiasts is coming up from May 3rd to 5th, 2019 : Nadelwelt in Karlsruhe. From Friday to Sunday, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (Sunday to 5:00 p.m.) the Nadelwelt in the Karlsruhe Exhibition Center (Hall 1) opens its doors again. As always, the focus is on patchwork, but knitting and embroidery are not neglected either. This year you will find Acufactum, Fingerhut, the German Embroidery Guild, UB-Stickdesign, Im Bilde, Loving Cross-Stitch Designs, Naald en Draad, Embroidering and Design, Stickkunst Dillenburg and Vaupel and Heilenbeck, alongside some suppliers from France and the Netherlands. The choice is overwhelming.

The workshop for historical embroidery patterns is also represented. You will find our designs, models, as well as embroidery instructions, embroidery kits and yarn packs at the Ortkemper Design booth, booth B6.1. Doris Huster-Ortkemper stands for extremely tasteful patchwork art, often a little subdued in colour, but therefore all the more effective. She combines her works with our embroidery patterns. Together, patchwork and embroidery create a harmonious whole.
