Why a completely different motif this time?

The corona crisis has bought us some time, many appointments, many leisure activities, many festivals and invitations have been cancelled. That's certainly what happened to all of us. This is certainly sad and unfortunate in many cases, but it also creates space for something new!

Once again we were able to devote ourselves to our extensive library on the subject of embroidery and samplers. In the USA in particular there are some older but still important publications on the subject. Looking at the American samplers, one notices the English influence on the one hand, and on the other hand the central motif, a house. The girls of that time often depicted their parents' house on their samplers, sometimes with very enchanting details. The idea of ​​creating a modern houses sampler arose from reading this book and here it is: "American Homes".

In a few days we will publish these patterns. And one thing can already be revealed, there is also a successor. let yourself be surprised.
