The Chart

In january 2003 when I started my first stitching course to learn Ebensee, a special method to stitch cross-stitch, I began with this sampler. I wanted to combine cross-stitch motifs with various pulled thread stitches.
I found the cross-stitch motifs in the booklets*) of Elly Koch who has collected within many years traditional rural motifs in Switzerland especially in Graubunden - carnations, acorns, delicate birds, flower-shoots etc. I thank Elly Koch very much to let me publish this samplers with her motifs.

The result is a sampler with Graubunden motifs.
